The altar is the anchor
The pulpit is the word
The pulpit is the word. The shape like a call - plain, simple and powerful! The large steel sheet, darkly burnished, is inserted in a sandstone column to the left in front of the choir - as if by an unseen hand - and effectively curves around it. A movement. A moment of energy and dynamics. A clear and powerful sign in and with the space, and with and for the community.

Steel sculpture on Große Brombachsee
The sculpture from COR-TEN steel has an impressive length of 14 metres and is the largest work of art on the newly created Franconian Lake District. Depending on the water level of the lake, the sculpture protrudes to different heights above the water’s surface. The water level is also apparent from the changing colour of the metal.
