Company history:
High quality mechanical production since 1983
1983: Foundation by Peter Feckl in Kreith near Hohenlinden, district of Ebersberg
An empty farm was the first workshop of Peter Feckl. At the start, the focus was on the production of hydraulic components with their assembly, as well as mould making for the construction industry and special machinery construction.
1985: Entry into CNC technology
by acquisition of the first CNC processing machine.
1990: Construction of the company’s first production building of its own
at Gewerbering 14 in Forstern, district of Erding
with extensions in 1995,1998 and 1999 During this time many new customers were acquired, and with them new sectors too: Production parts for Formula 1 engines, fixture construction for the automotive industry, special parts for the aerospace sector, mould construction for the plastics industry, construction parts for robotics and automation, realisation of art objects, mechanical production for the chemical industry, frame construction for the semiconductor sector, rotor construction and developments for environmental engineering

1991: Foundation of FEOB Gesellschaft für metallerosive Bearbeitung mbH
Mr. Peter Feckl, together with Christian Obermaier, founded FEOB GmbH with a focus on mechanical machining through ram EDM and wire cut EDM. Initially, production took place under one roof together with Feckl GmbH. However, from 2003 FEOB GmbH moved into fully air-conditioned rooms in its own building.
Today, FEOB GmbH is an innovative and modern commissioned erosion work provider. With many years of experience in the application of erosion technology and the production of erosion parts on leading-edge erosion machines, the company is a highly competent partner to its customers from a wide range of sectors.
2002: Construction of the second production building in Forstern, Am Steinfeld 1
With the acquisition of a 10,000m² plot and the construction of
completely new production and office buildings, in 2002 the preconditions were established for the sound further development of the company. The size and spaciousness of the new production hall enabled significantly more efficient production processes. New processing capacities in the field of milling, an air-conditioned measuring room with computer-aided 3D measuring machines and larger quantity orders were further milestones in the company’s history.
2002: Extension of the production building
to over 5,000m² and the expansion of our photovoltaic plant to 190 kW established new opportunities for production and environmentally-friendly power generation. At the heart of the new hall is the high-performance FPT Verus machine. Equipped with a mechanically steplessly adjustable 5-axis universal milling head, it offers
torques, outputs and turning speeds that are presently rarely achieved. The machine covers all milling angles and product geometries.
2016: Introduction of aerospace certification
per DIN ISO 9100.
